Hello. Teachers' Day is coming. I don't know whether I should still go back to my primary school or not cos basically, I can only visit 2 Chinese teachers, which I'm not really very close to. :( A few of my friends are going, like Yi Lin, Yee Ting Charmaine etc. Hmm... Besides, I don't know whether I'll be able to rush back in time or not cos TVPS ends at 10 and up till now, I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT TIME CEDAR ENDS!
Ok, gtg. Bye~

I PASSED THE SITUATIONAL TEST! YAY! Ok, anyway, today was the interview. I WAS SO NERVOUS! SO, SO NERVOUS! I was the last to be interviewed you know? All the other groups are done and I'm the only one left! Even the testers have came out from interviewing the students already. Ya, so, I was so nervous that somehow, my eyes became teary. YES! IT WAS SO EMBARRASSING! I was really very nervous. I don't know whether the tearing affected my performance or not but I feel so embarrassed and paiseh! OH NOOO! I hope it didn't affect my performance. Anyway I can't reveal too much on the interview cos there are ppl taking it tmr. Haiz... I'm so disappointed!!!

I finished my Situational Test already. IT WAS SO SCARY!!! THERE WERE SO MANY SENIORS THERE!!! :-{ I can't reveal anything about the test cos there are still many ppl who have not sat for it yet. They'll be sitting for it tmr. (GOOD LUCK PPL! :]) All I can say is that most of the PCs and PSLs will be there. I almost freaked out when I saw so many of my seniors there... Really! I didn't know what to do... But I'm quite disappointed with my performance cos I got affected by their presence. :( Sad... I don't know whether I can pass this test or not. If I'm so lucky and I passed, I'll be shortlisted to go for the interview, which is conducted by the teachers. If I pass the interview, I'll officially be a Pupil Leader (PL)! :DDD But wait, I shouldn't be thinking too far now. I don't even know the results of this Situational Test and here I am, imagining that I'll really become a PL. Haiz... 传到桥头自然之。I'll just let nature take its course. :)
Oh yay, Singapore is guaranteed a Silver Olympics medal! :D Our Table Tennis women's team got into the Finals and is competing with China this evening for Gold! Of course, once you see 'China', you know what the result will be. Haha. But there might be a miracle... :) Although I know that China will win, I just wish that Li Jiawei, Wang Yuegu and Feng Tianwei will do their best! :D

Ok, it has been almost a week since I last posted. But nvm, cos I have to revise (again) for the upcoming Maths CT 4 in week 9. =.= Anyway, GET READY FOR A LONG, LONG, POST NOW. :D
Friday was our National Day celebrations. I HAVE TO DO GUIDES YEOMAN SERVICE! :( I actually didn't want to do it cos I will miss out on the celebrations (the singing and all) but I must do it as I've never done it before and there's a requirement of at least 3 times per year. It's already past mid year and I did none so it's time for me to do the service. I was really very sad that I couldn't watch the performance but no choice, I have to do it. Fortunately, I got to watch the marching and participate in the mass dance! Hahaha, I felt so happy. I love the marching! It was so cool! Everybody was so neat and uniformed. How I wish I can be part of the NDP next year. :DDD Shortly after we went to the hall, Carin and I have to go back down to the canteen nd get ready to serve the food already... :( So sad. The indoor performance haven't even started yet when we were up there. It was only the prize presentation! So we missed about 1 hour of the indoor performance, including the community singing. There was the modern dance and the malay dance, community singing and cheering too! Sounds so fun. We heard the Cedarians up there singing and jumping to the songs, enjoying themselves... BUT, we, the fellow guides down at the canteen doing duty, also had our own fun! Hahaha, we also sang together, formed a circle and 'joined the people upstairs' in jumping! Hahaha! So hilarious. Then after the performance, the guests and the VIPs came down to the canteen and this was the time when we were doing the duty, by serving refreshments to the guests, VIPs and the teachers. In the end, there were many leftovers so we started eating them too! Haha, we were quite rude, actually. :( Then we also let the Cedarians eat them, and even the cleaners were invited! The performance ended at around 10.30, while I finished the duty at about 11.45?! I actually planned to out with Xin Yu and Jeslyn for lunch but they decided that they didn't want to wait for me and went home to eat their own lunch in the end. Actually, it's quite impossible to ask them to wait for me. I finished my duty at around 11.45! Hahaha. Then I was so lonely and I decided to go home by myself. However, I dropped by J8 to see whether I could buy anything for my lunch.
So that was how I spent my National Day celebrations on Friday. -_-
In the evening, we watched the Opening Ceremony for the Beijing Olympics 2008. I was so excited! Hahaha. The performance was so wonderful and spectacular, with such elaborate costumes. The performers were very synchronised and everything was very neat and grand, of course. Then we waited and waited for the march past of the countries that was taking part. Wow, there are 204 countries participating in this Olympics! Cool man! I stayed up all the way until Singpore finally marched out. =.= If I'm not wrong, Singapore is the 188th country to come out. Hahaha. What a really long wait. The part that I liked most is the lighting of the Olympic torch. Li Ning was the one who lighted up the Olympic Torch. He was 'flying' in the air to the HUGE, HUGE torch at one corner of the Bird's Nest and then, he transferred the flame to one stick or sthg then the HUGE, HUGE torch officially lighted up! So cool! Yeah!
Saturday was National Day. Singpore's 43rd birthday as a nation. I'm so proud of my country. Singapore has been through 43 years of hard work and effort that leads to what it is today. (I bet Jeslyn is even prouder of Singpore than me. Haha!) I watched the parade at my aunt's house, then we watched Calefare and First Class. I like First Class better cos it's very school-like and it's so comical! Calefare is not bad also... :)
Yesterday, we saw (on TV) Tao Li swimming in the semi-finals for the Women's 100m Butterfly event. She was actually the last in the first 50m, but later, she 反败为胜 and became 3rd in the end! She also broke a few records and her best timing now is 57.44s, I think. :D What a wonderful job! Now, she has moved on to the Finals, which has already taken place just now in the morning. She didn't win any medal, as she came in 5th. It was already a very good effort that she managed to enter the finals. Tao Li is the first ever Singaporean to enter the finals of any swimming competitions. So she has already done Singapore proud. :D
I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE OLYMPICS! Hahaha. I wanna see whether any athlete manage to win a medal and do us proud. :) There's still many days to go, and also many more events that has not started yet, like the Table Tennis. GO, TEAM SINGAPORE! :D

I'm back again. Life is fine, as usual. Today Ferozia suddenly asked me, "What is life?" I was totally shocked by her question! Okay, maybe not really shocked, but kinda surprised by what the question. I thought she was trying to crack a joke or sthg but later Xin Yu, who was with me, said to her, "What is life is what you think it is. Bye!" Haha! We were actually going to the toilet so Xin Yu just gave her a 'ridiculous' reply. But come to think of it, WHAT IS LIFE?
So, I found out that there's going to be another Maths Common Test (for the whole of Sec 1) on 19 August, Tuesday, Week 9. AND IT'S WEEK 7 NOW! WE ONLY HAVE EXACTLY 2 WEEKS TO PREPARE! 2 weeks! Although there'll only be 4 topics tested, it's still gonna be difficult. :( Oh well, let's just let nature take its course while I revise once again.
NATIONAL DAY IS COMING! :) And not to mention the BEIJING OLYMPICS 2008! :D YAY! Actually I don't know why I'm so excited. -_- Haha.
Today, I met my ex-classmate in the bus. How nice. Or should I say how sad. He's currently in RI and is apparently facing a lot of pressure from the number of projects. =.= (It's the same thing through and through in good schools --- projects and projects and projects. =.=) When I asked him whether he still maintained contact with the other classmates, he said 'sort of'. Sad to say, I only maintain contact with a few people. :( I didn't really got the time to ask for the boys' email addresses. Never mind. Then he said that he went for the class gathering on Youth Day holiday, while I didn't. :( Cos I knew that 'I'll feel left out from the crowd' as most of the people that should be going were friends that I wasn't really close to. He also told me that 'quite a number of people went'. I was quite sad then. Did my other friends really went? Anyway, it's ok. They went to sing K-box or sthg and I'm clearly not interested in such things so it's better off me staying at home. Or is it? So I suddenly kinda missed the days that I spent in TVPS, after PSLE, with my friends... Wonder how they're doing now... I'm gonna go back to Townsville with Charmaine on Teachers' Day celebration. BUT WHO CAN I VISIT? I'm in such a pathetic state now... All my form teachers from P1 to P6 have either retired or left the school. :( Even my CCA teacher went to another school! I'm not really close to my Chinese teachers, even though they're pretty nice. :) But if I'm really going back to visit them, I'll visit mostly Mdm Cheng and Mrs Tan. :D
Oh ya, there's the Records Challenge show tonight on Channel 8, 8pm. It should be about Townsville, if I'm not wrong. YOU ALL MUST WATCH OKAY? :DDD

OH YAYYY! THE TESTS ARE FINALLY OVER! :DDD I'M SO HAPPY! Ok, I know everybody would be happy. Haha. Today was Chinese and I think that I did so-so for it. I just hope that I can pass. Really. If not I'll be very, very disappointed... :( Now that the tests are over, I can finally relax a bit and have more time for rest and leisure! :D
Anyway, this Friday is the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics. :))) Now then I realised that the Olympics is such a grand event. Haha. Quite looking forward to it. :) The events and all. :) Hope Team Singapore will do Singapore proud and bring glory and pride to our nation! :D
Oh ya, National Day is this Saturday. Long weekend. :D Another weekend for me to relax! :) Haha.
Ok, gtg. Will update another time. :)
