I'm downloading songs now... Hope it's successful!
The Sec 1 CCA Allocation is out today! I was excited to know their CCA. Hah. There're 3 people from 1C that got into Guides. I wouldn't say that's a lot but at least it's better than nothing. I heard from one of the 1C student that around 3/4 of her class wants to appeal into another CCA! Whoa! That's a lot! Maybe because there is a change of CCA Head of Department so the allocation is a bit different from the previous years.
It's the weekend! Yay! But tmr will be a busy day...
Sigh. I shall just end of here before I start babbling rubbish.

Happy 牛 Year!
niu
I know it's not the first day of CNY, but at least today's coming to the end of the third day...
How one week passes so fast! Tmr's Thursday already! Just how did I spend my last week?
I remember last Thursday we were having Music lesson and we were supposed to pair up with a partner and put in audio effects into the Twilight movie trailer. Oh man, that was fun! I can't wait to continue tmr! Hahaha.
Then came Friday, where we had the CNY celebrations (not to mention only at the last period). After that, everything went in a blur.
On Sat, went out. Sunday, stayed at home and did last minute clean-ups in the house and also, the very important REUNION DINNER! Hahaha.
Monday... Went to aunt's house and parents' friend's house. Watched The Little Nonya Big Reunion Dinner over there. I actually expected some more NGs, but there was this part about Robert Zhang and Chen Xi playing polo that I liked! It's so funny! :)
Tuesday. Hmm. Went visiting the whole afternoon. But I still managed to reach home with enough time to settle down and pack my bag.
TODAY! Well, Wednesday's just a short day. What do you expect? Haha.
Still looking for a new blogskin!

Oh well, I think I give up posting pictures of the sky. =.= It's a bit troublesome. xP
Anyway, today is 大年除夕,the EVE OF CHINESE NEW YEAR! :D Haven't started the renuion dinner yet.
Trying to find a new blogskin. Hmm.
Yay, AMAZING RACE SEASON 14 IS PREMIERING ON 16 FEB! Whoohoo! Haha, am excited for the next season! Hope it's as exciting as the previous one! :)

Ok, I said in the previous post that I want to post pictures right? Ahah, this shall be the picture post! Hahaha.

I took some random pictures of the sky over the past few weeks. Haha, cos the pattern in the sky was nice! :)

Ahhh! Ok, there's sthg wrong with the mouse/picture. (I can't move the picture down!) Forget it, I shall carry on another time. :)
Grrr...
Class deco! Whoohoo~ 2I's doing quite a good job, but there's still much more room for improvement. I walked past other Sec 2 classrooms and some of their decorations are better than ours, I have to admit... But never mind! At least this year's is much, much better and nicer than last year! Hahaha! The judges are coming tmr after school already and we still have quite a portion yet to be done! Oh no... Haha, but I think we should be able to make it on time. :D

Sec 1 Induction Ceremony is such a success! The event was quite smooth-sailing, maybe except for a few errors here and there. The decoration in the hall is so much nicer! There were helium balloons attached to a string that shaped like an arch across the stage! Can you picture it? It was so beautiful! It's a pity I didn't take a photo of it. xD The video presentation of the students during Orientation Camp was also well done! (Thanks to the IT Committee!) I saw a couple of 1C students! Hahaha. I was the prize stewardess. Had to wear the CCU... Yeah, really hoped the Sec 1s liked the Induction Ceremony. :)
Class deco! I think my class decorations are ok, much better than last year! Hahaha, of course, we've learnt our mistakes. :) But there's still work to do for the 2 small noticeboards. Hope our decoration will turn out good! ;)
Hmm, actually want to post some pictures... But time's running out! I've got things to settle. What do you expect? It's a MONDAY tmr.

Oooh, it's been a week since I updated!
'O' LEVEL RESULTS! :D Yay, Cedar has achieved excellent results for 'O' Level with an average aggregate of 9.0! Wow, the Sec 4 badge of 2008 has broken Cedar's 52-year record! Hahaha, I sound like I'm reporting news! Oh, and Cedar also produced the top Indian scorer in Singapore! :) Hehheh, because of the excellent results, the school has declared a HALF-DAY OFF today! We were released at 10.30. Hahaha. :D
It's the same as last year, the half-day, I mean. I wonder whether the previous years were like that... Hah, 2I was so excited and anxious to hear Mrs Ouyang announce the half-day off announcement. xD Once we heard the P.A. system sound, we immediately quietened down. Haha.
But for me, I didn't come home early, instead, I went to Bras Basah Complex with Xin Yu and Maisarah. Discovered a new way to go to Bugis. :) As usual, I was 'marvelled' by the huge pop@central store. And the art section there was much bigger than the other stores, of course. So we had quite a lot of accessories/papers to choose from. At first, we went to pop to look at the colour of the papers and the price, then hopped over to Art Friend to survey the same things. In the end, the we bought the pink papers from Art Friend and the other colour from pop. As expected, the things at Art Friend aren't cheap, and we digged deep into the class fund as well as Maisarah's pocket... :( Ah well, let's just hope that the decoration will turn out nice! :)

School has reopened. Homework has poured in. CCA is starting tmr. PC duties has started. Summary: BACK TO THE OLD HECTIC DAYS.
Well, I'm not saying that I don't like going to school or CCA, but I hope I won't be too busy that I'll go over-stressed! Haha, now who wants to be over-stressed?
Ok, I'm now in charge of 1C! Yay. Haha. I hope there'll be one day this week where morning assembly will be in the classroom due to wet weather so that I can talk to them more! Hahaha, but of course I have no control over the weather. Hehe. xD
Just now I mentioned homework, and I'm sure Maths is gonna be given every day! Cos the teacher already said so! My, my, my. Brrr.
Oh, and I realised that most of my teachers this year are the more experienced teachers that usually teach Upper Secondary classes. Haha, unlike last year! We had so many of those new teachers, some even fresh from NIE! (But that's not really a bad thing altogether.) The more experienced teachers can teach more effectively, even though their lessons may be less interesting compared to the younger teachers...
2I has so many things to discuss! Ahhh, whenever we have the time to discuss as a class, it's always being used for the preparation of the upcoming Cedar Fiesta! Go Cedar Fiesta! :) I really hope it'll be a success for my class and the whole school! :)

Year 2009 is in the house! Welcome! Haha. Ok, well wishes to everyone!
Anyway, I've been quite busy for the past few days, and one day jsut revolves around either homework, or Orientation. Hahaha, I'm already at my last page!
Speaking about Orientation, it was SO FUN! I wish you were there too. Haha.
Fun things about Sec 1 Orientation Camp '09
- Having to be in charge of a class, a fabulous class called 1 (salsa) Chilli Sauce!
- Working with such great leaders, Vidhya, Preethi, Brenda, Carin, Sarah F., Joy Yuen and Nasuha. :)
- Got to bond with 1C.
- Learn more things (like responsibility).
- Lastly, HAVING FUN! :)
I'm very excited for school to start! Haha, excluding the part about homework. :) But actually, 2 months really passed so fast! Nonono, I should say, ONE YEAR! I still remember going for Orientation Camp last, last year (Dec 2007) and now, I'm already in charge of a new badge of Sec 1s! =)
Alright. I guess I shall get moving and pack for tmr! :)

Great, I can FINALLY post on blogger. I've been using the desktop for the past few times and it's can't 'locate' blogger.
Monday
Met up with Xin Yu to discuss homework. Ok, more like I want to 'consult' her about Chinese and Geog. I'm so glad I finally clarified all my doubts so I can quickly finish up my homework!
Tuesday
Went to school for PC AGM. Also had a briefing about Orientation. Then we exchanged encouraging letters to PCs of other levels. I mostly received from the EXCO members, but it's better than nothing, so, thanks! :)
Wednesday
Christmas Eve! Hah, but went to Tampines Mall in the afternoon to meet up with my auntie and brother. Wow, the mall is huge! Ok, at least bigger than J8, considering that it's only a neighbourhood shopping centre. (But I'm sure if I go TM often, I'll get bored of it. xD) Then my cousins and brother wanted to go to Timezone. Haiz, it's so noisy in there. But Zone X is nicer cos there're more games.
I spent the evening onwards at my other auntie's house for a 'Christmas dinner'. Played some games and watched TV. Ate log cake. :)
Thursday
Merry Christmas! Hohoho, in the morning, I did some 《小王子》stuff. I'm beginning to get the hang of it! FINALLY!
Then in the late afternoon, I went to my cousin's house for a gathering cum birthday celebration. This time round since there're more ppl, we played Werewolf and it's sthg like Maffia but there're more characters. Yay, so fun!
Friday
FIRST DAY OF ORIENTATION! :D Yay, the most-awaited Sec 1 Orientation Camp 2009 is finally here! Had to report early at 6.45, yet there were a few Sec 1s there already! So early!
I'm the 2nd I/C of 1C, and we (the I/Cs) encountered some problems today. :( It was quite embarrassing, cos we're the leaders and seniors and should be modelling the way for them! Hahaha, anyway, learn from our mistakes!
1C is still quite shy, and they haven't had a proper self introduction yet! But after all, the time was a bit rush so I hope Monday won't be like this... :X First day of Orientation is always like that. I remember when it was my year, it was the same! Quiet, shy, and 'unwilling to speak'. Er, maybe not unwilling, but not daring enough. However, I'm sure it'll be ok for the next few days and hopefully 1C will be very bonded! :D
In the mid-afternoon, I went to Science Centre with my family to see the 'Magic Exhibition'. It was interesting and some of them are related to Science or optical illusion.
Saturday (today)
Did homework in the morning. I really hope I can finish 《小王子》on time! :) After having a late lunch, we went to a friend's house. As it is in Punggol, there is a huge piece of land in front of her flat and after that is the sea already. The scenery is quite nice as there are no blockings. At about 6, we went down to the huge piece of land to fly kites! Haha, there were people flying remote-controlled aeroplanes too. The wind today wasn't as strong as the other days so only one of our kites could fly. And that was my family's kite. Haha. The other one was bigger and heavier, so I guess there must be more wind to make it fly up. Anyway, the sky was very nice and beautiful and blue. Let's see if it's possible to see from the images below.
The kite on the right is mine. (:
Can you see my family's kite? Hah, it's the tiny speck in the middle of the photo. It really flew very high. :)
This picture is taken from her flat. Looks like it's in another country huh?
This is taken on the road! I was crossing the road and saw that it was so empty that I decided to take a picture of it! Ok, don't follow me cos I know it's dangerous. xD
Yeah, that's basically what I did for the week. Enjoy your last few days of holiday! :)
