Great, I can FINALLY post on blogger. I've been using the desktop for the past few times and it's can't 'locate' blogger.

Monday
Met up with Xin Yu to discuss homework. Ok, more like I want to 'consult' her about Chinese and Geog. I'm so glad I finally clarified all my doubts so I can quickly finish up my homework!

Tuesday
Went to school for PC AGM. Also had a briefing about Orientation. Then we exchanged encouraging letters to PCs of other levels. I mostly received from the EXCO members, but it's better than nothing, so, thanks! :)

Wednesday
Christmas Eve! Hah, but went to Tampines Mall in the afternoon to meet up with my auntie and brother. Wow, the mall is huge! Ok, at least bigger than J8, considering that it's only a neighbourhood shopping centre. (But I'm sure if I go TM often, I'll get bored of it. xD) Then my cousins and brother wanted to go to Timezone. Haiz, it's so noisy in there. But Zone X is nicer cos there're more games.

I spent the evening onwards at my other auntie's house for a 'Christmas dinner'. Played some games and watched TV. Ate log cake. :)

Thursday
Merry Christmas! Hohoho, in the morning, I did some 《小王子》stuff. I'm beginning to get the hang of it! FINALLY!

Then in the late afternoon, I went to my cousin's house for a gathering cum birthday celebration. This time round since there're more ppl, we played Werewolf and it's sthg like Maffia but there're more characters. Yay, so fun!

Friday
FIRST DAY OF ORIENTATION! :D Yay, the most-awaited Sec 1 Orientation Camp 2009 is finally here! Had to report early at 6.45, yet there were a few Sec 1s there already! So early!

I'm the 2nd I/C of 1C, and we (the I/Cs) encountered some problems today. :( It was quite embarrassing, cos we're the leaders and seniors and should be modelling the way for them! Hahaha, anyway, learn from our mistakes!

1C is still quite shy, and they haven't had a proper self introduction yet! But after all, the time was a bit rush so I hope Monday won't be like this... :X First day of Orientation is always like that. I remember when it was my year, it was the same! Quiet, shy, and 'unwilling to speak'. Er, maybe not unwilling, but not daring enough. However, I'm sure it'll be ok for the next few days and hopefully 1C will be very bonded! :D

In the mid-afternoon, I went to Science Centre with my family to see the 'Magic Exhibition'. It was interesting and some of them are related to Science or optical illusion.

Saturday (today)
Did homework in the morning. I really hope I can finish 《小王子》on time! :) After having a late lunch, we went to a friend's house. As it is in Punggol, there is a huge piece of land in front of her flat and after that is the sea already. The scenery is quite nice as there are no blockings. At about 6, we went down to the huge piece of land to fly kites! Haha, there were people flying remote-controlled aeroplanes too. The wind today wasn't as strong as the other days so only one of our kites could fly. And that was my family's kite. Haha. The other one was bigger and heavier, so I guess there must be more wind to make it fly up. Anyway, the sky was very nice and beautiful and blue. Let's see if it's possible to see from the images below.

The kite on the right is mine. (:

Can you see my family's kite? Hah, it's the tiny speck in the middle of the photo. It really flew very high. :)
This picture is taken from her flat. Looks like it's in another country huh?

This is taken on the road! I was crossing the road and saw that it was so empty that I decided to take a picture of it! Ok, don't follow me cos I know it's dangerous. xD

Yeah, that's basically what I did for the week. Enjoy your last few days of holiday! :)

Saturday
Grandma's house! Went there for lunch and all the other cousins also came. We played 'Maffia extended' and it's fun! But you need at least 7 or 8 ppl to play the game.

After that I went to Bras Basah Complex! Yayyy! I love that place cos of the HUGE Popular there. We were buying assessment books. There were A LOT, I tell you! So nice! (:

Then we headed to Far East Plaza. I've never been there before so I'm quite excited to see how it looks like (interior) and what shops there are. I heard it's a place for teenagers also. But when I went there, I realised that only Level One has the 'nice' shops. When I went upstairs, I saw electronic shops and didn't see a lot of fashion shops. So I didn't walk upstairs. Bought shoes! (:

Sunday (today)
I just came back from a mini Christmas meeting with my Primary School friends, Yi Lin and Wei Hui. We met at J8, walked around, then they wanted to eat Haagen Dazs ice cream. Then we went to KFC to snack. But I bought my own Sugar Roll! :D

Since we're bored of J8, we went over to AMK Hub. Took a train there, even though it's only one stop away. xD We took neoprints (again) cos we wanted to try out the 'new' booth. It is a different one now and at first I thought it was very cram, but after taking I find it quite nice, the photos are all right and the decorating system is okay too. Then they wanted to take once more! Hah, nvm. It's quite fun, this booth. (:

Today, 7.55pm, Channel 5/National Stadium, SINGAPORE VS VIETNAM! Hahaha, let's hope Singapore wins! :D

Friday, December 19, 2008

I went to Parkway Parade. Even though it's located in the neighbourhood, I think it's quite a good place to shop cos there are many interesting shops there. The Borders there is much nicer than the one at Wheelock Place although it's smaller. The children's section has a wider collection! Then I ate the Anderson's of Denmark ice cream! But I still prefer the New Zealand's Natural one. (:

Orange.

Today is December 16th. 17 more days till school reopens. And that's only around 2 more weeks! Geesh! :(

I don't know what to post! I guess this shall be it for now.

Monday, December 15, 2008

Owww... It's pain!

School's gonna reopen soon. Haiz. And I'm still trying to finish IT.

Just found out yesterday another place for shopping. xD Yea, I know I shouldn't be thinking of going out already cos the holidays are ending...

I don't know what to post already! I think this shall be it for now. (:

Today I went shopping! :D

Went with Jeslyn, Sabrina and Regina. Xin Yu couldn't go cos she wasn't feeling very well... :( But today was very fun! We met at bugis mrt first then went for lunch. After that, we walked at Bugis Street/Village.

It's my first time there you know? I sound so suah gu (ignorant)! My friends have described that place to me a lot of times and make me even more anxious to go there!

Finally I went there and it was very crowded! Ok, it would be more crowded on a weekend. There are many, many shops/stalls selling things like clothes (shirts, pants, shorts, jeans, skirts), shoes, bags (and wallets), watches and accessories (earring, necklace etc). All the things on sale are for teenagers, and I mean ALL. It is indoor but not air-conditioned and there are three storeys.

We walked around the first level and there are sooo many things to see! I intended to buy a 'Little Miss' shirt there and of course, there were quite a lot of shops that sell it. However, I wanted to compare the prices first so I decided to walk around the whole complex before choosing the final one.

There were prices like 1 for $12, 1 for $10, 2 for $20 and so on. I wanted to buy two cos it would be more worth the money but I didn't have that much money with me... So in the end, I came to this stall and they sold the shirt at a lower price, so I decided to buy it. (I tried to bargain for a slightly lower price but in the end, the shop owner accidentally gave me a 10-cent discount! xD)

Yea, after that we went to the second level. It's air-conditioned! We were so glad cos it was quite stuffy downstairs! :P Anyway, I saw a very nice accessories shop on the second level! :) We went up to the third storey but it was so small and quiet that we immediately came down again! Haha!

We walked back to Bugis Junction to eat McDonalds (teabreak) and let our legs have a break. xD

--- Shall continue tmr. :) ---

Continued from yesterday...

We wanted to take neoprints already but me and Jeslyn didn't want to take it at Bugis cos we always go there to take and I wanna go to Orchard Cineleisure to see. Jeslyn also wanted to go to Orchard area. So we took the MRT to Somerset but it was raining heavily! :( There were strong winds, thunder and lightning. We had to walk to Cineleisure from the MRT station and it was very difficult to navigate the way there when the rain blurred the vision ahead. Regina didn't bring umbella so it's even more tough to go to Cineleisure. In the end, we went back to Bugis Junction! Haiz, it was quite troublesome, but we wanted to take neoprints and not end our outing like that!

After we took the neoprints, we decorated it and waited for the photos to develop. However, there was some kinda error! I don't know what exactly happened but it had sthg to do with the printing. We had no choice but to wait, and wait, and wait. The shop assistant then told us that we had to redecorate the photos! Arghhh! This time round, we got the photos successfully. I think we spent around half an hour waiting+redecorating. Humph.

Yea, that's all. Then we went home. I'm glad I bought the t-shirt! :D

Monday, December 8, 2008

I went for a mini barbeque at my aunt's house yesterday. It was fine, and the food was alright. Most of the food couldn't escape without being burnt! I loved the chicken wings. xD

Okay, after a long weekend of play, I'd better settle down for some serious stuff (e.g. dreadful homework!) before I go out some time this week.

Shall I post some pictures? *ahem* NOT OF ME, I mean.

Never mind. Shall post the tag replies here (so that I won't hog up the tagboard).

To:-

xin yu: haha xin yu.
Sabrina(: haha, don't flatter me! ;)
&SARAH: sarah! that's one great idea! but i didn't think about that though. xD
wei ting: thanks wei ting. (: yea, the luge is fun!
jeslyn: haha jeslyn, thanks, and i did have a good time. :)

Saturday, December 6, 2008

So how do you find the previous post? xD

Haha.

I went to watch Bolt yesterday with my brother and two cousins. It was very funny! Bolt is cute too! The story is about this dog, Bolt, being a dog actor that has superpowers in the show. However, he doesn't know that it is all a show and he has no superpowers at all. Until one day, he got lost and accidentally got flown from Hollywood to New York! Hah. He met a few comical pigeons on the way and made friends with a cat, Mittens, and a hamster that keeps himself in a ball, Rhino. Rhino is so funny! All along, he thinks that Bolt is really a superdog, even up till the end of the show! Hahaha. It might not sound funny here, but it sure does when you watch the movie. :) I give it 4 stars. :)

I'm bored at home! That's why I'm going out some time next week... Once again, my homework is uncompleted. BUT, I've finished almost 2 more homework! Hahah, at least there's some achievements. ;)

Wednesday, December 3, 2008

Right. SENTOSA!
Went on 27/11, Thursday and came back on 29/11, Saturday. Yes, I know it's a very short trip but as usual, I had fun!

Day 1
When we went there, our room was checked in very fast. Played with my cousins who were also on the trip with us. :) After lunch, we celebrated my cousin's 6th birthday! Ate the delicious Prima Deli cake! Umm...

After the teabreak (cake), we just lazzed in the hotel room. Read Twilight and the introduction was quite draggyyyy. Aha. Oh ya, we went swimming in the late afternoon. Swam a few laps, but those laps were nothing compared to those that I swam during the school's swimming lessons! xD Given my height and age, it's quite impossible to sit the slide right? Haha, but there wasn't any lifeguard there or person on duty so I just went up and sat with my cousins! Ahaha... I know I'm still very childish. xD

Evening came very fast so we went to a foodcourt (Koufu) at Palawan Beach for dinner. It was quite breezy and we somehow watched the sun set. :) Then, we went into the Islandlife shop. My sis wanted me to try on the sunglasses! Humph. Then I tried and she took the following photos. So ugly and funny! xDDD
For this last photo, my sister purposely wanted me to let the glasses droop down! X(
At night, we watched Don't Forget the Lyrics (Singapore) and The Little Nyonya and that's it for the day!

Day 2
Rise and shine for another day! After breakfast, we just stayed in the hotel room for a while then went downstairs to the small arcade. When it was about 10.30, we swam. *bloop bloop*
After lunch, stayed somemore in the hotel room and read my book. When it was about 4, we walked to the Underwater World, but we didn't go in, just walked outside to see some fish/turtles. Unfortunately, we just missed the turtle feeding time. :( On our way out, we saw a male peacock with its opened feathers! Wow, I think I have never seen a peacock open its feathers before. But I didn't see the process of opening. I managed to take a few pictures of it and so did the other passers-by. The peacock seemed to be relishing up all the attention given to it. It was strutting around and turning slowly to let everyone take pictures of it! So cute!
Here in this photo, there's a female peacock in front of the male one.

Since it wasn't that hot anymore, we went directly to the beach. I played with the water for a while then focused on my sandcastle. Haha, this time, I built it without the help of the spades, but with my own hands! :) I think that's more fun and interesting.
Yea, I know it's not very perfect and all, but at least I think it's nice. Haha! (P/S: The sides do look a bit like a volcano! xD)

Here's me and my sandcastle! :) Oh ya, the line around it was actually representing the moat...

After going back to the hotel room to wash up, we went to eat dinner, followed by going to the Night Luge! Haha, that's one attraction that we always go to at Sentosa. However, previously, we sat the Luge/Chairlift in the day. Now, we decided to try it at night! That's so cool! I have to admit that some parts of the 'racetrack' was a bit dark and scary, cos there were coloured lights (blue and red)! And it was breezy so it was very fun. When my sister and I were taking the Chairlift, the night lights were beautiful! When I looked left, I could see the beach, sea and the hotel. Right, I saw the city and PSA site. My sister borrowed my phone to take a picture and so I was afraid it would drop down! Haha. It was quite dark below so you wouldn't know where it dropped to.

I actually wanted to eat New Zealand's Natural ice cream after the Luge, but it was closed already! So sad! So I guess I have to wait till the next morning...

At night, I dreamt that I was 'robbed' of my chance to eat ice cream! The dream was sthg like we had to leave Sentosa in a hurry so I didn't get to eat my NZN ice cream! Then I woke up, and I was so relieved and glad that it was only a dream, and that I will really get to eat it in the morning! Haha!

Day 3
A short day. At about 11, we took a tram to the NZN shop and finally bought my Cookies N Cream ice cream! Yum! I had been waiting for this for 'a long time'! As usual, it tasted fantastic! ;D

After we checked out of the hotel, we went out for lunch. Took a final picture.

And this is the end of my Sentosa trip! :)

Tuesday, December 2, 2008

Yes, yes, I know I'm supposed to talk about my Sentosa trip, but the photos are not ready yet! Humph. But it was still very fun, as usual. :)

Did I talk about the Cedar Musical? I think I did, but I didn't talk much. Even though I felt that there were a little too many songs, the whole musical was nice, and I could tell that the teachers and cast put in a lot of effort to make the musical such a success. And ya, the props were superb! They were very elaborate and detailed. Saw a lot of Cedarians. x) Haha.

My homework is still UNFINISHED! Noooo! I hope there's still time for me to both work and play for the rest of the one month! xD

Sunday, November 30, 2008

I was supposed to post photos here, but apparently, time's running up, so I guess I have to post it another day.

Thursday, November 27, 2008

Wow.

So many things are happening around the world.

Bangkok.

Mumbai.

US economy slowdown.

Where else next?

Hmm, shall be like a reporter and report about the current news in Mumbai! Haha.

Err... Actually, I don't quite know exactly what is happening there, but I know there're some riots and fightings.

Oh! Now I know. Haha. THERE ARE TERRORISTS ATTACKS IN MUMBAI! *gasp* Haha, not funny.

Wednesday, November 26, 2008

Yay, I'm excited. For sthg. That I'll talk about later. xD Haha.

What shall I post here today? Hmm. Never mind. It's a post like this already! Haha. Post somemore pics? Maybe not. Haha. Another time.

Tuesday, November 25, 2008

I'm bored! Hmm... I know it's the holidays and I should be having and all... But I'm just so bored at home (even though I have not finished the homework yet...)!

Speaking of homework, why does the school even give us homework over the holidays? What's a holiday with homework? zzz... =.= It seems like there's no meaning to it!

I'm still struggling with my Chinese newspaper review. Sigh. Hope my first attempt of the review is all right...

Shall I post some photos? Yeah, some random ones. :) Oh, I know! Photos of famous sites! :D

The ever-so-famous 'London Bridge'.

Here, the Eiffel Tower!

St Basil's Cathedral in Moscow, Russia. I just like the exterior. :)

The Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Parthenon in Acropolis, Greece.

Finally, the Statue of Liberty.

I guess this will be it for now. I'll continue to post such pictures if I have the time. Hehe. xD

Sunday, November 23, 2008

Yes, I changed my blogskin. Yesterday. In a rush. But never mind.

I can finally blog now that this computer is working. Haha.

This is officially my 100th post in this blog! :D

Anyway, Cedar Musical is nice. :) Sooo many Cedarians turned up, of course, and the seniors all wore very nice and formally. Haha. We (the audience) were very enthusiastic (i guess...) and I kinda expected what will happen. Not the show, I mean. The plot is very simple, about maids in Singapore being abused by their employers. As usual, there were many songs. Too many songs till I find a bit overly done... I know it's a musical, yes, but it's like, after 10 seconds since a song ended, another song comes up again. But the musical was nice in the whole.

Sam and Vince won TARA 3. Yes, it was very predictable. They shouldn't have advertised the camera commercial about them so early before the race ended! This gave viewers a clue that they might be the winners! But I think Sam and Vince deserved to win. (I'm trying not to give a report here...) This season, they did not have any task related to brain work. It was mostly physically-related. Which means there wasn't any Roadblock/task about the flags of the countries. But I like the task that they had to dig up the treasure box from the sand in Phuket, Thailand. That's quite creative. And they placed stacks of cash (should be US$100,000) in the treasure box for the winners to open! However, I'm sure that it's fake money. Haha. I'm sure looking forward to the next season next year! :D

Passed my piano exam with flying colours! xD Haha.

Sunday, November 16, 2008

I think TARA 3 is getting more and exciting. No, it should be exciting by now, as the season finale is just this Thursday already! So fast! A.D. and Fuzzie went out. I knew that they would be booted out. They were so laid back and doesn't seem to be pushing themselves. But nvm, it's also a good thing that they got out, because it's so agonising to see them so relaxed and lagging behind!

Went for CIP last Friday at the opening of the new Yishun Public Library. It was very crowded, as usual, but the books there were mostly new and there was a wide variety of books. It occupied the whole level of the extension of Northpoint Shopping Centre. Just hanged around in the library and shelved books, especially the children's area! The books were quite messed up.

I think I'm gonna download some songs now. Gtg. :)

Wednesday, November 12, 2008

Everywhere I go, I see advertisements for Madagascar 2 Escape 2 Africa! Argh! I know it premieres tmr, but it's so irritating! The kids are all talking about it and singing that "I like to move it move it" song.

First, in the bus on the way to toa payoh, there were 2 kids behind the bus talking about the characters in the movie and singing aloud the song. (!!!)

Second, outside the MRT station, there was a big poster about the movie. =.=

Third, at one of the big shopping centres (I think it was Tangs Plaza), there was a big TV screen showing the movie trailer.

Fourth, the toys for the Happy Meal in McDonalds was also the characters from Madagascar 2!!!

I have had too much of Madagascar 2 today already. I think I should get a rest.

zzz...

I think I overborrowed books form the library already... xP Right now I'm jumping from series to series! Man, I hope I don't get confused by the different series.

Tuesday, November 11, 2008

TARA 3 is going to end soon! Just next week already! I seroiusly think that Sam and Vince won. Oh well, let's just see how the race goes. :)

Sunday, November 9, 2008

GUIDES ANNUAL CAMP 2008 ROCKED!

I loved the Guides camp! It was sooo fun! But I feel very guilty that I didn't stay till the end and had to leave early... because I had piano exam! While everyone is envying me that I can go off early, I really wanted to stay till the end with everyone else! Unfortunately, circumstances do not allow...

--- Btw, I promised myself not to blog only when the rest of the Guides have come back, to be fair. :) ---

Anyway, the first night was fun. The morning and afternoon was very tiring and hottt! As in the weather. We were pitching our tent and making our gadgets (e.g. shoerack, baggage rack and clothesline) under the hot sun! I already got sunburnt before the first day ends! But it's okay, I don't mind getting tanner. :) Haha.

The night activity was cool! The Sec 3s tried to trick us that our handphones and wallets were lost! Hahaha! My first reaction was, "Oh. Are you sure you really lost it? I don't quite believe it..." Because they are Sec 3s, not some primary school students. And there are teachers around. Do you really think that our valuables will be lost? Haha, I know that anything might happen, but just saying my thoughts. :) Then after that, there was some moment of dead silence and everyone, including the Sec 3s, were looking very serious and solemn. They asked us whether we saw anyone suspicious in the campsite. Suddenly, one of the Sec 3s started smiling a bit and ahha! That's when I knew sthg was wrong... Haha. Guess what happened next. Another Sec 3 handed out a list of TYPED-OUT document of the possible suspects for the theft! Hahaha! Can you believe it? Then everybody started to laugh and their trick was exposed! :) But I have to say that the Sec 3s were successful in tricking most of us, since they acted quite real.

In the end, it was just some kinda of mystery game that we have to find out who the thief was. We just went station by station and complete the tasks.

Haha, our patrol got ready our bathing stuff when we had free time so when we were allowed to bathe, we immediately grabbed our plastic bags and rushed off to the showering cubicles! Hahaha, we were very kiasu. xD Wow, I felt so refreshed after the quick shower!

I slept quite well after that, (even though we only had about 5 hours of sleep), cos I was tired.

Rise and shine for a brand new day! Our patrol woke up at 5am! So early! We were only supposed to wake up at 6.30am! Hah, it's ok. I just woke up, warmed myself up and rolled up my sleeping bag.

I was so looking forward to this day! You know why? COS WE WERE GOING TO EAST COAST PARK TO CYCLE AND ROLLERBLADE!!! I love rollerblading!

--- I shall just skip to the part where we were at ECP. ---

I cycled first for about 1 and a half hours. Gee, that's long! I grew tired of the bicycle in about 45 minutes cos I didn't know where else to ride (even though ECP is very big). Plus, the bicycle is not nice to ride on. :( I accidentally adjusted the gears and didn't know how to change it back. =.= And from then on, it was even more difficult to ride! I just can't wait for my turn to switch to inline skating.

Inline skating was sooo fun! I loved it a lot! Most people didn't know how to skate so I helped them a bit. Then I just skated on my own around the area. You know what?

I GOT TO USE THE NICE, BLUE, K2 SKATES THAT I'D BEEN EYEING ON! I GOT TO USE IT!!!

Hah, ok, I know I sound very exagerrated, but I was really so excited! The rental skates were BRAND NEW! And I couldn't believe my luck you know. They used such a good pair of skates for RENTAL USE. Anyway, it was good also, in a way, that they used it for rental, if not I wouldn't have a chance to wear it! Haha. It was so smooooth and perfect and nice to wear and I liked it a lot. Haha.

The cycling and rollerblading at ECP was very refreshing and it was sthg new as we got to go out of the campsite and do sthg else. I enjoyed it thoroughly man! :DDD

After my dinner at Mcdonalds, we had this challenge of going around the park searching for things and doing it also. It was sort of like a Treasure Hunt in some ways. Here were some of the things that we had to find:

- Someone wearing braces
- Caterpillar
- A couple with the girl taller than the boy
- A person with matching top and bottom
- A bicycle shop owner's business card
- Twins
- An angmoh baby
- An Olympics 2008 logo
- An ex-Guide or Brownie

There are many more, and we also had to do things also. Btw, it can't be from a Cedar Guide unless specifically mentioned. Things we had to do:

- Find 2 strangers to do with one of us the Kallang Wave
- Get someone to recite the 7th Guide Law
- 3 of us to sing the World Song
- Ask a shop owner for his/her birthday, favourite food and fave colour

Wow, we were kinda stunned by some of them, but we had no choice and we had to do it within 45 minutes. It was dark and we couldn't really see as clearly as in the daytime.

We had to take photos or video tape down our actions as evidences. Somehow, my phone went berserk and there was no volume for the videos! I was so disappointed but luckily the seniors 'trusted us'. I accidentally deleted one of the photos and forgot to show them the business card! But it's okay.

After that, when they were going to board the bus back to Camp Christine, I met up with my parents and... yea, that's it. That's the end of my Guides Camp! THAT'S IT. It was only one night-two day. I really wished I could stay on especially for the campfire but I have to set my priorities right. I can't just let one whole year of hard work on the piano go down the drain. Anyway, I had a lot of fun in the 2 days and I sure look forward to the next camp next year! :D

Tuesday, November 4, 2008

I'm gonna reach my 100th post soon! :)

Friday's class outing was very funnn! :D We cycled and played frisbee, made our 1I turtle and had a picnic! :) Yea, everything went fine. It was very fun! :) I'm organising another outing so the 1I-ballers reading this, please check your email! :)

GIRL GUIDES ANNUAL CAMP! :D

I think I know who won TARA 3 already. It's so obvious! Haha. Really enjoyed watching both TAR and TARA. A.D. and Fuzzie are so funny man! Hahaha.

Thursday, October 30, 2008

There's TARA 3 today! :DD

Haha, I'm looking forward to tonight's TARA 3!

Tomorrow is the class outing! YAYYYYY!

I'm telling you, I'm so excited and all geared up for tmr's class outing! I can't wait!

Went to Bishan lib with Maisarah today. I've borrowed 3 books on Tuesday so now I can only borrow 1 book! Noooooo! Sad to say, I have to leave this space for the book that I reserved and it was ready for collection today. Yippee, I have more books to read! But that's a bad point too, cos I have to read fast.

Anyway, I'm so excited. I hope the weatherman will be kind to 1I tmr and let there be some sunshine. :)

Tuesday, October 28, 2008

Yay! I have sooo many books to read this holiday! No, wait, should I say, for these 2 weeks.

I went library-hopping with Wong Lei this afternoon. Well, it isn't really library-hopping cos we only went to 2 libraries --- Bukit Merah (BM) and Jurong Regional (JR).

Since the nearest MRT station to BM lib was Redhill, we alighted there but we had no idea where to walk and how to get to the lib! We were not totally lost though, cos i wrote down on a piece of paper the route that we're gonna walk yesterday night. (Haha!) Still, it was partially useful, and we eventually came to a point when we were clueless on how to get to the lib. We just walked (based on our direction sense) to a bus stop, then we took the only bus there to somewhere in the direction of the lib. I rmb that this particular bus goes to somewhere near the lib. Yes, after we alighted from the bus, we cut through a HDB block and voila! We arrived at our destination! Hahaha.

BM lib was okay. Not as nice as what I had expected though. But it's ok. I borrowed a book from there and now I think I shouldn't have. Reason being? Read on! xD

We found out at the bus stop that 198 goes to JR lib so we just hopped on that bus, not exactly knowing where to alight. BUT, we alighted at the correct stop anyway. I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! Hahaha. Because we passed by Jurong Town Hall and that's the road where there's the nice, huge hump on the road! When you drive over it, the feeling is like sitting on a rollarcoaster ride! Anyway, you have to really feel it to understand what I'm talking about. xP

JR lib was very nice! I mean the variety of books. There were many books there and I found the books that I wanted.

So now, I have 5 English books and 1 Chinese book to read! And I have to read it all within 3 weeks! (That's a bit of my personal target and because of the lib due date also.) --- Hold on here, I know many of you can finish them all within a week, but please understand that I'M A SLOW READER, OKAY?! Plus, I want to finish my homework asap. --- I'm so excited! Haha, at least I know that I have many books to occupy myself over the hols! :D

I love KINOKUNIYA! :D

Ok, it's not like I've never been there before --- I've been there many times already. And each time I go there, I'm convinced that it's the best book shop.

Yup, I went there this morning cos there's a sale (whoohoo!). I read a book first, then bought Twilight. *pause*

Okay, I know almost everyone in my class has read it and there're crazy over it so I thought there's no harm in giving it a try.

Yay! I have many books to read this holiday! I won't complain that I'm bored anymore since I have many books to catch up on my reading. :)

Man, I can't find the other songs of HSM 3. I don't know how to download it the proper way anyway. Haha. Perhaps I'll just get it Bluetooth-ed from somebody else.

HSM 3: Senior Year was very nice! Somehow, everything still turned out right, the way everyone expected it to. I like the ending! The ending was so sweet and perfect! And it was touching too. :) How I wish my own Graduation would be sthg like that too, though I know it won't be so fancy. Haha.

The songs were nice too. I missed the first part that I wanted to watch!!! :( It was the part where they had the opening song Now Or Never. I wanted to watch that part so much you know? But so sad, I missed it, due to some reasons. It's ok. I will just try and forget it. Hahaha.

Today is the first day of the holidays for me. Wow, I can't imagine that it comes so soon! I have exactly 9 weeks and 5 days to enjoy. Except that towards the end of the holidays will be spent tuning my mind back to the 'school mood'.

2 months is certainly a long, long, time. I guess I'll just have to do sthg useful and not just entirely play all day. (Alicia, don't accuse me of studying!)

I'll be definitely looking forward to the class outing. I hope everything will go as planned and nobody comes late or whatever.

Today is the last day of school. I'm so sad. I mean, of course, I'm happy and excited too, but it's that feeling of sadness that we're leaving 1I and being promoted to a new class (but with the same classmates).

I read joyce's blog and it was so touching! 1I-ballers, please go and read: http://joy-ceyy.blogspot.com/ . (Hey joyce, I'm helping you promote your blog!)

I'll really miss all the good times that we have. Despite all the problems or troubles that you caused to the class comm, we're still one big class and we'll always be here to help one another. United we stand, Divided we fall.

Top 5 Best Moments with 1I
1) Home Econs Dinner Night
2) My birthday (:
3) Day of the CNY decorations
4) Buzz@canteen
5) Today :D

All the 1I-ballers out there, I know sometimes I was angry with you and all, but I have never given up on us. We will forever stay as a class together no matter the number of hardships that we went through together...

Yea, and here I am, in school, attending the Cyber Wellness course. The teacher allowed us to use the computer. xD

Ok, gtg now. (Just a quick one today.) (:

FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE WEARING A BLACK SHOE TO SCHOOL.

Wow, I can't believe myself either. This is really my first time wearing a black shoe to school. Boy, I was both excited yet nervous. I mean, you always have this nervousness every time you experience your 'first times'.

Today was boring in school. We had no post-exam activities so we simply stayed in class (except for PE and recess) and played all day. BORING! Anyway, I guess that's the way it is every day after the exams. The teachers don't bother to come in to class, anyway. Well, except for Ms Low. But that's nice of her, to organise some simple class activities. :)

GUIDES ANNUAL CAMP!!! :DDD

I'm so looking forward to the Guides Annual Camp, even though I can't attend the full camp. But it's still gonna be fun. :)))

TARA 3 was quite funny! Haha. Sam and Vince came in first again, and they somehow expected it, I guess, since they had a 4-hour lead right from the start of the leg! Imagine that! 4 hours is a long time! Plus, they flew to Hong Kong, their representing country. Naturally they had a home-ground advantage. :)

This is so frustrating! I'm chatting with my friend and we can't seem to get to a decision on where we can go! ARGHHH!

Anyway, we got back our results today (cos Mr Chan didn't come to school yesterday)! I'm so excited! Yes, I got ___ in class and ___ in the level and WHOOHOO! I'M SO EXCITED AND HAPPY! :DDD I did better than I expected and I'm so surprised and happy! Yay, I think I shall go and celebrate! :D

Gosh! It's back on again. Gtg! :D

I'M SO BORED.

Yes, I'm so bored this whole weekend. Seriously, I can't wait to get back to school. At least we have post-exam activities to do. I'm being posted to hip hop! Yay! I mean, I can try sthg new, instead of soccer, netball or frisbee. :) (It's not that I don't like the 3 sports.) So... yea. I'm not sure how everything will turn out, but, I can give it a go.

Anyway, talk about how I spent my weekend. Hmm, nothing interesting, actually. Just lazing around, blogging, reading, playing piano etc. What's there to do now that exams are over? (HOORAY!)

I can't wait for tmr too! There's AMAZING RACE! (I should have mentioned on Thursday during the PC bonding session that I love AMAZING RACE! Haha.)

Thursday, October 9, 2008

I LOVE THURSDAYS! ^^

Yay, it's once again Thursday! I love Thursdays more than Mondays, actually, though both days have the same reality show. Hehe... Anyway, TARA 3, TARA 3, TARA 3! I'm so excited! Okay, I know Sarah (Ni) thinks I'm crazy or whatever.

I can't go for the CC in early November cos I have sthg very important that I can't miss or skip.
:( But fear not, Rachel, I'm looking forward to the Malacca trip in December and hopefully, I can go for that! :D

We're having a class outing in the hols. (I'm trying not to reveal too much here...) But some people don't really listen... What can we do? Anyway, I think that 'fun' is in the planning. Haha! I sound like Jantu from The Clay Marble. I like to plan such activities, even though I know it can be very messy at times.

I'm so gonna watch HSM 3: Senior Year! It looks nice, from the movie trailer. Perhaps I'll go with Carin and friends...?

Wednesday, October 8, 2008

Oh, this is great! I love myself! :)))

Haha, anyway, we got back our exam results today. And it was really ALL the exam papers. It's just that the teachers didn't go through with us the questions, just told us in general how we did as a level. I'M SO HAPPY YOU KNOW!!! Okay, you should have guessed what the results are for me... Anyway, I'm not gonna post here my results for everyone to see! ;) Haha! But I can say that I did better than what I expected! YAY! This really calls for a celebration! WHOOPEE~!

I'm so looking forward to the class outing. I wonder where our class will be going... I hope we can discuss tmr... :D

I'M SO EXCITED AND ELATED YEAH! ^^

Wow, today was so interesting and shocking and UNEXPECTING! So many things happened today and all of those were the unexpected!

Me, Xin Yu, Jeslyn, Jing Wen and Wong Lei went out to Bugis Junction. When we've finished taking neoprints, we were standing and cutting the photos. Suddenly, one of us was swaying then almost dropped to the floor! It happened so suddenly that I didn't know how to react! I was shocked but quickly helped her up. She was so pale and looked like she was going to faint any time! In my heart, I was wondering: what is going on? (I shall not mention the person cos it's not nice.) In the end, me and 2 other ppl quickly ran to buy mashed potatoes for her to eat cos it's soft and easy to swallow. When we've bought the mashed potatoes and was waiting for the lift to take us up, I suddenly asked, "Did you take the spoon?" Then we quickly 'rumaged' the plastic bag and true enough, we didn't take any spoon! Hahaha! So one of us just ran back there and got the spoon. By the time we reached there, *she* looked better. We called her parent to come and fetch her home. It's better like that anyway, cos then she can go and sleep and rest.

Right now, *she's* okay. Do you know that me and the others got such a scare? One of us said, “哇,我真的时吓到半条命!” It was also very worrying, to see our friend in this state...

Anyway, after *she* went home, we just walked around the shopping centre and didn't go anywhere else cos there was no time. (I shall skip the less-interesting parts.) When we decided to go home, we took the escalator down to the basement, walking towards the MRT station. Guess what, WE SAW OUR TEACHERS!!! Yes, we really did see our teachers. You know who? Ms Ng, Mrs Vivien Koh and another Upper Sec teacher!!! It was so embarrassing, I tell you. You'll never understand the funny things that happened at that time. I STILL CAN'T GET OVER THE INCIDENT! IT WAS SO HILARIOUS! Hahaha!

Okay, anyway, we're getting back our exam papers tmr. So fast right? Some schools haven't even finished their exams and yet, we, in Cedar, are getting back our exam papers tmr already! It's like juxtaposition... Haha, which reminds me of the Lit. paper. Haiz, I just wish that my grades are okay... :)

Alright, this is the picture that we took yesterday at Plaza Singapura. :) We took it in the toilet! Haha!

Monday, October 6, 2008

Today, I went to watch Mama Mia! with Alicia, Natalie, Wan Ting, Wong Lei, Jing Wen, Sashimi and Jeslyn. The show's quite funny and nice, just that some parts are a bit disgusting... There were a lot of song and dance and I heard some of the songs before. It's sthg like HSM 2, where after a few dialogues, a new song comes in. (Of course, I'm not saying that they share the same storyline.) In the middle part of the movie, I got a bit tired of the singing cos it comes quite often. Anyway, the ending was quite funny, with an unexpected twist! Haha, I think Alicia enjoyed the show. Before the movie started when there were many commercials, Jeslyn kept laughing at some advertisements then I sort of 'contracted the laughing diease' and started laughing too! It was so comical I tell you, I laughed until I felt that I couldn't stop! At the same time, I couldn't laugh out loud, with so many ppl around. Haha, I think we enjoyed the movie in general. :)

I'm supposed to post pictures here but oops, AMAZING RACE IS STRATING! <333

Goodie, I changed my blogskin! I love this blogskin too! It suits me very well! :D Hope you guys also find it nice. :)

around the world in 80 days...

Saturday, October 4, 2008

Yay, I'm so excited! :) I went shopping with my mum this afternoon! Yay! It's so nice to be out of the house, especially when you know that the exams are over! YAY, I'M SO EXCITED! I can't wait for Monday and Tuesday! What a fun day it will be. (I think.)

Great, now I can discuss with Sarah Ni TAR 13 and TARA 3! She has subscribed to AXN channel already! YAY! :DDD

what a nice feeling...

Friday, October 3, 2008

Oh man. I still have so much homework to do! ...

Wait a minute ---

THE EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER! :DDD

Oh my gosh. I've never felt so relaxed before. Or maybe not. Haha, anyway, so how was my introduction? Hope you guys caught the twist! ;)

And this time, it's for real, I've completed all the exam papers (except MSP oral) and WHOOHOO~ , I'm free from studying! (Okay, it's for at least 2 months. But 2 months is a lot! xD)

YAY, YAY, YAY,
I CAN FINALLY PLAY!

It's really a great relief. And that also means that I am free to come back to blogging again! Haha. I've broken a huge record of not blogging in this blog for 3 weeks! Great! :) At least I can now use the computer without any sense of guilt. xD

Actually, it's kinda boring not having anything to do at home once you know that you don't need to pick up your textbooks, workbooks or assessment books. THE FEELING'S GREAT MAN! Anyway, I think I'm gonna play like crazy. Haha! After all, I think I deserve to have a break since the exams are over and go out and celebrate with my friends! :DDD

Let's recall what happened during the 3-week exam period...

English paper: nope, nothing happened. :)
Higher Chinese paper: oh no, i have not much confidence in this... :(
General Science paper: yay! i love this paper. haha. :)
History paper: oh gosh, i've been worrying so much for this paper and am i glad that it's over! the paper was okay. :)
Mathematics paper: great! :)
Literature paper: it was okay. :)
Malay Special Programme paper 1 and 2: it's quite easy... :)
Geography paper: good! :)
Malay Special Programme paper 3 (LC): oh man, i don't understand what cikgu was talking about man! okay, maybe i can catch a few key words here and there, but otherwise, i don't think i understood much of the paper. haha... :/
Malay Special Programme paper 3 (Oral): ??? (on Monday)

This is roughly how I feel for the exam. Anyway, I'm so excited! I can't wait to go out and celebrate! :D

Oh ya, TARA 3 IS SO INTERESTING! I love TARA 3 so much! Yea, the teams are very interesting, especially our Singapore team! Haha! They may appear to be very 'physically weak' but Fuzzie is quite comical. But I don't think they're strong enough to enter the final 3. :( I think this third season of TARA is much more tough, and guess what, in yesterday's episode, the teams went to Taipei, Taiwan! So good! I gasped when I saw that you know, even though I was on the phone with Xin Yu... Haha. Okay, that's besides the point. Ya, the teams when to Taiwan and the task for the Road Block was to eat the Stinky Tofu you know! I was quite interested to see how the teams wil fare. However, I'm sure it really stinks and they're supposed to eat one big bowl of it! I can't imagine myself eating that in the race. I'll probably throw up too. Dx

Anyway, the American version, TAR 13, is also equally interesting and nerve-wrecking as the Asia one. No, it should be the other way round. I like Nick and Starr. :) They got first for the first leg. :) Nice. I think they're strong. They're siblings, btw. But Terence and Sarah do not have a good impression of them cos the former was apparently 'rude' to the latter. Sarah was 'telling' them that 'she thinks that it's not easy to get a taxi here' a few metres away from them and Nick and Starr wasn't even facing them. I mean, it's neither of the teams fault. This is how the game goes. You can't be too nasty nor friendly to the teams. (Er, at least that's how I feel.)

Oh yes, the weekend is here! I think it's very 'thoughtful' of the school to conduct the exams earlier, so that we can relax earlier! Hahaha! While my siblings are still studying, I can sit down and watch TV and do whatever I like! :) Nah, just kidding. I'm not that inconsiderate. Hehe! Lookin' forward to the weekend! :D

Today, my family celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival (MAF)! Goodie, I love MAF! I shall elaborate some other time but let me just post the photos taken first. :)

Some lanterns. :)

This is a colourful lantern that I especially like! :)

More lanterns in different colours, just that it isn't very obvious in this photo... -_-

More candles.

My two younger cousins playing with the candles too. :)

The lights are actually the lanterns hung onto a string, ya know? Haha, ok. (These are not my lanterns in the above photo.)

Btw, you seem to notice that all the lanterns that I took were the traditional ones, huh? Yup, we carry the traditional ones instead of the kiddish ones with the music which is very irritating sometimes. =.= And these photos were taken in Bishan Park 2, which is just right in front of my house! :D

Tuesday, September 9, 2008

I AM SO EXCITED!!! *GASP, GASP.*

I don't think I wanna say it out here now, but I have 2 reasons on why I'm happy ecstatic.

1. TARA 3 IS PREMIERING THIS THURSDAY, just 2-and-a-half days to go! WHOOHOO~

2. I think I shall not say the second reason cos it's not very convenient to shout it out loud here... Haha. xD

Saturday, September 6, 2008

Okay, I figured I might as well talk about sthg too, since I'm here already. Yes, rmb to view the photos that I just posted below. :)

Today is Saturday, the end of Saturday. And it's also the end of the hols! OH NOOO! THE END OF YEAR EXAM IS JUST A SHEER 2 WEEKS AWAY! NOOOO! I want more time for revision! Ok, I shall stop talking about the exams. I think I should be able to be on task if I cut down on the duration that I use the computer. xD

Anyway, TARA 3 SEEMS LIKE IT'S GONNA BE NICE! :D I'm really looking forward to it. They says that it's the 'toughest race ever'. Who knows whether what they say is true! (The 'they' is the TV. Haha.) And guess what, Sarah told me that the 13th season of TAR (US) is also debuting late this month, 29th September! WHOOHOO! I get to watch 2 TARs now! But there are 2 disadvantages. One, is that I might get confused with the 2 races, one with the original US version and the Asia version, since both are showing at the same period, every Monday and Thursday respectively. Second, is that it's screening during the exam period! NOOOOO! I think I should be able to watch, but I'll kinda get distracted! Hopefully I'll still be able to have a clear and focused mind for revision. :)

Yes, yes, yes. The hols have almost com eto an end. I shall say that I've done many things during this one-week break, both useful and not-so-useful. Haha. Anyway, it's ok. I believe that everyone needs to take a rest, like what I'm doing now. :)
Great. Today, I'm really gonna post RANDOM pictures. I don't care. XD

Yay, this is 1I! I LOVE 1I! <333This pic is so cool! It's made up of foooood. :) My brother made it a few months ago... Haha.

Yes, this picture was taken a long, long time ago - during Cross Country! Haha!

This too, a group photo. :)

Another one. :)

Hmm... sorry, this picture is placed at the wrong angle. X( Hope you can understand it. :) (It looks as if my brother is falling off a cliff and he's hanging on to the rock for his dear life! Haha!)

This is the Henderson Wave. It's very nice, the design, but quite boring over there... I went there quite some time ago, in around June. Yes, I know I'm posting very old photos...

Townsville! :D

Also from Townsville Primary School, this is the pond! The nice, nice pond. :) Now these are the more recent photos. :)

Who wants to sit in this race car from the Formula One being held in Singapore this month? Looks very elaborate... Btw, I went to Science Centre Singapore (SCS) on Tuesday and taken some photos. One of them is the above.

Another car taken from the SCS. But I'm sure this is not the race car, maybe just a sports car.

Hmm, this picture shows a 'pop-up' kelong (house on stilts), on the surface of the water. Can you tell? There's also a sea creature underneath, probably a shark or a whale.

ROARRR! Does this dinosaur look scaryyy? Haha, I know it doesn't. -_- But it's kinda nice, quite detailed.

HUMPHHHH. Now this dinosaur might look fierceee. How's that? Haha, I took at a very clever angle huh? Nah, just kidding. :) But this photo is very funny, with the dinosaur staring straight in your eye, with its sharp teeth jutting, almost as if it's real and going to eat you up. Haha! :)
Okay, that's it for my photo gallery for now. I wonder when's the next time I'll be posting some more photos. Probably not so soon, cos I'll be busy preparing for the exams! (I'm trying not to say the word 'mugging' cos Alicia mentioned that mugging is not good for our health. Haha! xD) See ya! :)

Thursday, September 4, 2008

ARGHHH! THIS COMPUTER IS VERY IRRITATING! What seems to be the problem? I can't access the window to adding images to this post! Argh. Forget. I thought I could finally post pics after a long, long while. Haiz, never mind.

Anyway, TODAY IS THE DAY! TARA 3, RACERS REVEALED! SEPTEMBER 4TH, 9PM, ONLY ON AXN! YAY, YAY, YAY! I've been waiting so long for this day to come. Finally they're going to reveal who the racers are. I've seen the Singaporean team, and they look like men, just that I heard from somewhere that they are women! So confusing! Uptill now, I still don't know whether both of them are men or women. =.= Haha. On the other hand, they don't seem to be very sporty, unlike the previous team, Adrian and Collin, where they won! (Yay!) This time round, I doubt the Singaporean representative will go far, frankly speaking. Haha! But I'd still love to watch the whole race! :D Oh, I pity Sarah. She doesn't have access to AXN so she can't watch this episode... It's ok Sarah, you won't miss out on much. :)

Oh goodie, it's gonna start soon! :D Gotta run!

Monday, September 1, 2008

Okay, get set for a very loooooooooooong post!

Friday
Teachers' Day celebrations! First, in Cedar, we started off with the morning games like Pictionary, Taboo, Charades, Scrabble, Soccer, Captain's Ball and Basketball. I played Pictionary with my friends against 1C. It was a bit boring. =.= I think if they used the actual board game then it'll be more fun. :)
After the game, we got attracted to the outdoor games like soccer and captain's ball cos there were many people watching it --- more like watching how the teachers play. XD Actually, I wanted to play Captain's Ball but there were many people 'queueing' up for it so I decided to give it a miss.
There was only half an hour left so my friends and I went to look for the teachers and gave their gifts/cards to them. Mrs Menon was so kind! Haha.
Next, me and Xin Yu had to go and get ready for the giving of gifts to the teachers. I gave to Mr Chan, of course, while Xin Yu gave to Ms Chye and Si Min gave to Mdm Koh. Mr Chan was still carrying the camera around his neck so Xin Yu and I were trying to advise him to put it aside first cos we'll be standing in front of the audience! Haha. Ya, and I WALKED DOWN THE RED CARPET! Hahaha!
The performance was quite nice. I like the dance. It was so cool! I saw my senior there. :) There were so many prizes and awards to be won and I can't believe that MR ANG K.J. WON THE MOST DEDICATED TEACHER AWARD! I didn't know that he's that super and great to win that honour. Hmm... perhaps he really is? But only his students can tell. -_- I bet Wan Ting was screaming and screaming in joy. :) Haha.
Then finally, they showed the videos that we, the monitresses did! IT WAS SO EMBARRASSING! VERY EMBARRASSING! But I was still laughing and laughing at what I did when it was screened in front of the whole school! It was really very hilarious! Hahaha!

After we're being released (at 11.45?!), me, Charmaine, Xin Yu and Jeslyn walked to the bus stop and took 853 together. (What a coincidence.) Xin Yu, as usual, alighted at Potong Pasir MRT to go back to Edgefield Primary while Jeslyn sat the bus all the way to Castle Green to visit Anderson Primary. (What a very long journey!) Me and Charmaine sat till we reached Townsville, of course. We saw Winnie Wong at the bus stop. I forgot that she was waiting for us! I feel guilty to make her wait for us.... (Sorry!)
When I stepped inside the school, I was quite shocked. There were so many people there! And for a moment, I didn't see anyone familiar, either because I didn't know them or they changed in their appearance! At first, I feel a bit out of place. :/ But when I went to the canteen, I saw many people that I know. :) Ying Rong, Kendrick, Ting Wei, Jayner, Xin Mei, Wen Hui, Metis and even Shi Min! Shi Min changed a lot! Haha, as in the appearance. She cut her hair and I think she lost weight. Then when I saw Ying Rong, I got quite a shock because I grew much taller than her than when we were in P6! Okay, I'm not being rude or insulting though. XD But I felt a sense of satisfaction. :)
Later, we just hanged around and chatted with some old teachers and old friends, even though we're not so close to one another. 陈老师 is so nice! As usual, she gave a lot of advice on studying hard and all. :) Then Ying Rong decided to call Yi Jiao and ask her where she was, when she was already at the back gate. Haha. Yi Jiao grew taller! But her face didn't really change. :)
Saw Mdm Lizan and chatted with her as one huge group of about 15 ppl?! Haha.
Chin Gee finally came and she is still the same! She didn't really change a lot. Maybe grew a bit taller. :)
We met 钟老师 and she is still the same too! Also very encouraging, asking us how's our life in secondary school , 我们是否面对很多压力等等. She gave us her contact no. :) We also signed up to be a Townsville Alumni! :)
Besides me and Charmaine, I saw 2 other ppl wearing the same uniform as us! That is Ying Jie, my sister's friend, and one other Sec 4 girl. :)))
I think Townsville changed a lot now that we have a new principal. The school looks more beautiful when the walls are given a new facelift. :) TVPS looks more fresh and interesting now. :D Yay!
After staying on for some more time, me, Yi Jiao, Chin Gee and Ying Rong walked out together to a McDonalds to eat. But Yi Jiao didn't eat with us. She went home. When we're halfway eating through our meal, Jayner and co. came. I SPILLED MILO ON MY TIE AND SKIRT! A little bit, not really a lot, but it's enough to stain my skirt! Argh!
After eating, I took 88 home. HOME SWEET HOME~
Actually, it's quite a pity that Ms Lee didn't go back to TVPS. But Yi Lin said she saw her at J8 recently.

Saturday
Went swimming in the morning. Reached there at around 11.15, when the weather was so hot! But I still swam, of course, but I think that I swim better at Kallang Basin there! Haha, I sort of feel that I can kick better there. Haha, I know that it's a very weird kind of thinking, probably it's just psychogically (don't know how to spell) thinking?
Went back home to study and revise, then went out for dinner.
Just a simple day. :)

Sunday
Nothing much happened on this day. Went for piano lesson and practised my aural. My aural needs to be improved a lot! I can't seem to rmb the tune so I cannot clap out the rhythm properly! :( Argh!
The rest of the time I was studying. But later, when my father came back from STTA, he said that Feng Tianwei was there training with Liu Guodong and Gao Ning! Wow! What a coincidence! And my brother was training in front of Feng T.W. too! Hahaha! I bet he must be feeling very pressurised. ^^ Unfortunately, when we went there to pick my brother up, they already left. :( I thought I could see a Olympic Silver Medallist live in front of my eyes, what's more representing Singapore! Haha, but the people said that they might come back again next week.

Monday (today)
Studied and studied and studied the whole morning. I spent A LOT OF TIME on just 4 SBQ questions for History! The amount of time taken is very shocking, so I shall not say it here. :) I think I put in a lot of effort in answering the questions right. :D But what matters is that will I be able to do such things during the exam? THE TIME MATTERS A LOT!
After lunch, I carried on with English compre and boy, was it tiring! The passage was long and difficult to digest! And the summary too, so tiring and confusing. But, I perservered and FINALLY FINISHED IT! YAY!
That's why I am here now, blogging about what happened in the past few days. Hope you have enjoyed reading this! :) Bye!

Hello. Teachers' Day is coming. I don't know whether I should still go back to my primary school or not cos basically, I can only visit 2 Chinese teachers, which I'm not really very close to. :( A few of my friends are going, like Yi Lin, Yee Ting Charmaine etc. Hmm... Besides, I don't know whether I'll be able to rush back in time or not cos TVPS ends at 10 and up till now, I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT TIME CEDAR ENDS!

Ok, gtg. Bye~

P/S: I LOVE GIRL GUIDES! <3
I PASSED THE SITUATIONAL TEST! YAY! Ok, anyway, today was the interview. I WAS SO NERVOUS! SO, SO NERVOUS! I was the last to be interviewed you know? All the other groups are done and I'm the only one left! Even the testers have came out from interviewing the students already. Ya, so, I was so nervous that somehow, my eyes became teary. YES! IT WAS SO EMBARRASSING! I was really very nervous. I don't know whether the tearing affected my performance or not but I feel so embarrassed and paiseh! OH NOOO! I hope it didn't affect my performance. Anyway I can't reveal too much on the interview cos there are ppl taking it tmr. Haiz... I'm so disappointed!!!

Sunday, August 17, 2008

I finished my Situational Test already. IT WAS SO SCARY!!! THERE WERE SO MANY SENIORS THERE!!! :-{ I can't reveal anything about the test cos there are still many ppl who have not sat for it yet. They'll be sitting for it tmr. (GOOD LUCK PPL! :]) All I can say is that most of the PCs and PSLs will be there. I almost freaked out when I saw so many of my seniors there... Really! I didn't know what to do... But I'm quite disappointed with my performance cos I got affected by their presence. :( Sad... I don't know whether I can pass this test or not. If I'm so lucky and I passed, I'll be shortlisted to go for the interview, which is conducted by the teachers. If I pass the interview, I'll officially be a Pupil Leader (PL)! :DDD But wait, I shouldn't be thinking too far now. I don't even know the results of this Situational Test and here I am, imagining that I'll really become a PL. Haiz... 传到桥头自然之。I'll just let nature take its course. :)

Oh yay, Singapore is guaranteed a Silver Olympics medal! :D Our Table Tennis women's team got into the Finals and is competing with China this evening for Gold! Of course, once you see 'China', you know what the result will be. Haha. But there might be a miracle... :) Although I know that China will win, I just wish that Li Jiawei, Wang Yuegu and Feng Tianwei will do their best! :D

Ok, it has been almost a week since I last posted. But nvm, cos I have to revise (again) for the upcoming Maths CT 4 in week 9. =.= Anyway, GET READY FOR A LONG, LONG, POST NOW. :D

Friday was our National Day celebrations. I HAVE TO DO GUIDES YEOMAN SERVICE! :( I actually didn't want to do it cos I will miss out on the celebrations (the singing and all) but I must do it as I've never done it before and there's a requirement of at least 3 times per year. It's already past mid year and I did none so it's time for me to do the service. I was really very sad that I couldn't watch the performance but no choice, I have to do it. Fortunately, I got to watch the marching and participate in the mass dance! Hahaha, I felt so happy. I love the marching! It was so cool! Everybody was so neat and uniformed. How I wish I can be part of the NDP next year. :DDD Shortly after we went to the hall, Carin and I have to go back down to the canteen nd get ready to serve the food already... :( So sad. The indoor performance haven't even started yet when we were up there. It was only the prize presentation! So we missed about 1 hour of the indoor performance, including the community singing. There was the modern dance and the malay dance, community singing and cheering too! Sounds so fun. We heard the Cedarians up there singing and jumping to the songs, enjoying themselves... BUT, we, the fellow guides down at the canteen doing duty, also had our own fun! Hahaha, we also sang together, formed a circle and 'joined the people upstairs' in jumping! Hahaha! So hilarious. Then after the performance, the guests and the VIPs came down to the canteen and this was the time when we were doing the duty, by serving refreshments to the guests, VIPs and the teachers. In the end, there were many leftovers so we started eating them too! Haha, we were quite rude, actually. :( Then we also let the Cedarians eat them, and even the cleaners were invited! The performance ended at around 10.30, while I finished the duty at about 11.45?! I actually planned to out with Xin Yu and Jeslyn for lunch but they decided that they didn't want to wait for me and went home to eat their own lunch in the end. Actually, it's quite impossible to ask them to wait for me. I finished my duty at around 11.45! Hahaha. Then I was so lonely and I decided to go home by myself. However, I dropped by J8 to see whether I could buy anything for my lunch.
So that was how I spent my National Day celebrations on Friday. -_-

In the evening, we watched the Opening Ceremony for the Beijing Olympics 2008. I was so excited! Hahaha. The performance was so wonderful and spectacular, with such elaborate costumes. The performers were very synchronised and everything was very neat and grand, of course. Then we waited and waited for the march past of the countries that was taking part. Wow, there are 204 countries participating in this Olympics! Cool man! I stayed up all the way until Singpore finally marched out. =.= If I'm not wrong, Singapore is the 188th country to come out. Hahaha. What a really long wait. The part that I liked most is the lighting of the Olympic torch. Li Ning was the one who lighted up the Olympic Torch. He was 'flying' in the air to the HUGE, HUGE torch at one corner of the Bird's Nest and then, he transferred the flame to one stick or sthg then the HUGE, HUGE torch officially lighted up! So cool! Yeah!

Saturday was National Day. Singpore's 43rd birthday as a nation. I'm so proud of my country. Singapore has been through 43 years of hard work and effort that leads to what it is today. (I bet Jeslyn is even prouder of Singpore than me. Haha!) I watched the parade at my aunt's house, then we watched Calefare and First Class. I like First Class better cos it's very school-like and it's so comical! Calefare is not bad also... :)

Yesterday, we saw (on TV) Tao Li swimming in the semi-finals for the Women's 100m Butterfly event. She was actually the last in the first 50m, but later, she 反败为胜 and became 3rd in the end! She also broke a few records and her best timing now is 57.44s, I think. :D What a wonderful job! Now, she has moved on to the Finals, which has already taken place just now in the morning. She didn't win any medal, as she came in 5th. It was already a very good effort that she managed to enter the finals. Tao Li is the first ever Singaporean to enter the finals of any swimming competitions. So she has already done Singapore proud. :D

I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE OLYMPICS! Hahaha. I wanna see whether any athlete manage to win a medal and do us proud. :) There's still many days to go, and also many more events that has not started yet, like the Table Tennis. GO, TEAM SINGAPORE! :D
